A $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot was won in California, but four Maryland players have tickets that are worth the $50,000 third-tier prize that were sold across the state.

The Winning numbers for the Wednesday, Oct. 11 drawing were: 22-24-40-52-64 with a Powerball of 10.

Lottery officials are now encouraging players to check their tickets if they bought from these locations:

Abingdon: 7-Eleven on Pulaski Highway in Harford County;

Clarksburg: Harris Teeter on Sweet Shrub Drive in Howard County;

Hagerstown: Martin's on North Point Drive in Washington County;

Owings Mills: Giant on Mill Run Circle in Baltimore County.

There were more than 5.3 million winning Powerball tickets sold for Wednesday's drawing, including 108,998 in Maryland.

It was the second-largest jackpot in Powerball history, and the second largest jackpot in US history.

There are still two unclaimed $1 million second-tier prize winning tickets that were sold during the latest run and remain unclaimed.
